Brazil - The Atlantic Forest

&

Lençóis Maranhenses

July 22 - August 2, 2025

On this tour, we will first spend time in the Atlantic Forest, which stretches along the eastern coast. It is home to one of the most diverse ecosystems on the planet, second only to the Amazon; where approximately 2,200 species of birds, mammals, reptiles, and amphibians thrive. One of the best ways we can protect it in perpetuity is to support locals who make a living off the land.
After photographing the colorful, exquisite birds  in the forest, we will travel to a place unlike any other on earth, Lençóis Maranhenses, where you will be mesmerized by the snow white dunes and turquoise waterbodies that stretch for miles.
