We will begin on March 9 at 9am in garden. (Those with memberships can enter at 8am.)
We will end midday on March 12.
Includes: All instruction in the field and classroom with pre-workshop orientation & post-conference editing & image review sessions by Zoom
Cost: $1099 (earlybird through August $999)
Location: Naples, Florida (We will photograph primarily in the Naples Botanical Garden, but may do an evening sunset at the beach or a morning birding shoot. I will scout locations and conditions prior to the workshop and will let everyone know what to plan for.)

Gear you will need...
Camera: Either a DSLR or Mirrorless camera. If you have any new gear, it is important to become acquainted with it before traveling to get the most from the workshop.
Lenses: For flowers: Macro lens, Lensbabies (if you have any), and a telephoto zoom (100 - 400/500mm equivalent). For seascapes: A wide angle (approx 24 - 70mm equivalent). For birds: A telephoto zoom (100 - 500mm equivalent).
Filters: Only if you anticipate shooting long exposures at the beach: Either a 6 stop Neutral Density Filter or a Variable ND Filter (6-9 stop) to fit the lens with the largest filter thread size (plus a step up ring if you choose to attach it to a smaller lens)
Tripods: A sturdy tripod is essential for low light and long exposure photography. I do not use a tripod in the garden, myself, but note that it will be helpful, if needed, for stability.
Software: All post-processing will be done using Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop
Pre & Post-workshop Zooms: We will review all gear and logistics on a pre-Zoom overview and orientation prior to the workshop. Afterwards, Jackie will review editing techniques ranging from basic image adjustments to more advanced application of layers in Photoshop.
Image Reviews: Feedback will be offered in the field & during our classroom sessions.
About Jackie
Jackie lives in St. Augustine and has been photographing the natural world since high school in Sarasota, FL. She is known for her rich colors and for infusion of personality in her floral and wildlife images. Jackie has received international acclaim for her images and has been published in several noteworthy magazines. Jackie also maintains an active group, Phlorography - Artistic Floral Photography, with thousands of passionate floral photographers from around the world. Phlorography is a community in which everyone and their photographic expression is valued.
