A large number of wading birds make the rookery their home each winter and spring as it provides opportunities for nest building and rearing chicks safe from predators. This is a perfect setting for photographers to hone their skills and achieve beautiful images of birds in all situations - perched in the trees, on nests, displaying courtship behavior, interacting with one another, and in flight (perhaps even carrying nesting materials). We will also make one visit to the seashore and capture the sun's reflections on the water as well as any shorebirds, pelicans, ospreys, or other birds we may find.
